Dr Erinma Bell is a peace activist recognised for her work tackling gun crime in Moss Side and Longsight after she and her husband witnessed a close friend being shot in front of them. Shocked by what they saw, they set up CARISMA (Community Alliance for Renewal, Inner South Manchester Area) to give young people positive alternatives to street and gun crime.
On Sunday July 5 at 19h30, she will be joining us on Zoom to talk about her life, her work, and to take questions from us. This is a fantastic opportunity for Jacksons Row members to meet with a representative from a different community and to create links. Erimna has been awarded the MBE for voluntary service and is a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater Manchester.
In order to help Erimna and thank her for her time with us, we will give you an opportunity to make a donation to her foundation.
