Come and share your favourite memories of Jacksons Row!
Following on from the community listening project where we heard from parents about what they wanted for their children from the shul, now we want to ask children (of all ages) what they love about Jackson’s Row and this community and also how we can build a better future.
Please join on Sunday February 28 between 15h00 and 16h00. Contact the office for Zoom details.
Claire Reynolds, who’s leading the project says, “When some of us did the community organisation training with Charlotte from Citizens UK, we learned that if you want the answer to questions affecting the community then you should ask the community. We did this through the listening project for our adult members and there was lots of discussion about youth programming and education. However I thought that if we want to know what the youth of our community want then we need to ask them directly. And that tiny seed of an idea has grown into the Youth Listening Project. I am so excited that we can offer this and we are hoping for lots of engagement, ideas and passionate people who will bring these to fruition.”
