Manchester Reform Synagogue extend a warm welcome to all. We are the Progressive Jewish community in the heart of Manchester, inspiring individuals with Reform Jewish values and traditions. Our aim is to to empower members to find a Jewish path to their life. Judaism goes beyond the individual, with a key focus on also supporting others in our society to achieve their full potential. Personal rights need to be balanced by responsibility to others, whether by helping to reduce poverty, hunger, strife, or climatic change and pollution. We provide education and events. More than this, we provide a sense of community. Come and join us in meeting today’s challenges.

Rabbis Josh Levy and Charley Baginsky, the Co-Leads of Progressive Judaism, have written a powerful reflection on the situation in Israel and Gaza, six months on from the horrifying events of 7 October.

Read the full reflection here. It concludes: “It is six months on. It is devastating that the principles found in Our Jewish Values are now even more needed than before. We call on the Jewish world and beyond to revisit them.” You can join RJ:TV, the Online Community for Reform Judaism at reformjudaism.org.uk/rjtv
