Council of Christians and Jews Manchester welcomes Canon Andrew White, the “Vicar of Baghdad” and acclaimed for his humanitarian work.

Until recently, pastored one of the largest churches in Baghdad, where he is now the Emeritus Vicar. In recent years Andrew personally supports his community of refugees that have fled Iraq and now reside in Jordan. Through Andrew’s Ministry he provides finances for healthcare, housing, and schooling for these refugees.
